For sure, it's only a few minutes away from me.

There is a generally recognised procedure for Matlock Bath.

Walk up and down aimlessly window shopping and browsing in the tat shops.

Play the machines in the arcades.

Look enviously at the sports bikes.

Take the piss out of the fat blokes on Goldwings.

Buy a cut price book from the bargain book shop just 'because'.

Have a pint or two.

Have fish & chips.

Think about going on the cable cars, but then bottle it due to the price and walk up to the heights of Abraham instead.

keep trying to get to something local, but without much success... depends on the date, or day... work long hours and cant always get away, but will keep trying, hopefully one day will make it.
Thats allways assuming its open to anyone?

Might not be a great date if you want a biggish turnout. Le Mans is the following weekend, a few people will probably be deciding what won't fit in the boot on that Sunday.

Yup, I will have a full day at Silverstone on the 11th for the BDC race day (top day out btw) and then setting off for Le Mans on the Tuesday. I had better spend some family time at home on the Sunday or I will be in trouble.

Matlock Bath will be heaving traffic jam on a Sunday too, I try to avoid the A6 at weekends.

How about a mid-week of an evening?

Sorry to be so negative and scupper your plans.

On the contrary, I don't think you've scuppered their plans, I think you've played in to their hands...

2SB can only do midweek
meagain is in Norfolk
BG is on domestic duties

that leaves...

VXR SIX, Joospeed and EmmaP.

Little do those boys know what they're letting themselves in for - she'll run rings round them!

midweek is great for me though .. likely to get a larger turnout by the sounds of it too. and evening drives are best aswell, sounds a winner to me

Morning all!

Tuesday 14th and 21st are fine for me. I'm quite flexible and will fit myself around whatever you plan.
