Ooh me ribs! That's got to be the worst picture that I have ever seen of me. One to keep the children away from the fire me thinks.

Thanks everyone for a great evening's entertainment. It was lovely to see you all again - even if it's only been a week - and to meet some new faces with familiar names.

I can still smell the rubber from Andy Mad Max's exit from Matlock Bath And Tom and I had soooo much fun racing along the A610 with Boosted and being very Laxeresque at the lights

See y'all very soon.

So, shall we meet up next Tuesday evening then? After that, shall we make it once a fortnight during the summer? First and third Tuesday of the month so as not to clash with Ashby Folville?

Andy Mad Max suggested another venue, a pub in Matlock itself, with plenty of car paring space. I know that my suspension didn't really enjoy all the dips and pot holes at the current venue. I'm sure the TVRs didn't either. And there is a really good chippy in Matlock too I am led to believe

had a good run over to chesterfield afterwards .. don't know where raceboy and stackmonkey headed off to though, seemed to go a different route in matlock itself

I swear my speedo is miles out, registered 117mph on the top stretch above slack hill chasing the tamora of madbadger .. I'm convinced it felt no more than 60mph though officer.

was a nice relaxed evening, thanks to everyone

hopefully see you all next week.

Yeah! I know what you mean about dodgey readouts old fogey. My trip computer told me when, I got home, that I was doing an average speed of 38MPH :scratchin: It also said that I got 26MPG. So, not all bad then!

I see the car park repair budget from Derbyshire County Council has been spent on 50mph signs for the A60.

Headed up the A615 towards Alfreton, then I turn off onto the A6014.

Was a good meet.

I'm up for it! A pub in the country with a large car park (and chips of course!) would be a plan.

Did anybody else go back via Lea,Crich, etc? A damn fine road.

Good to me you all (except Supaspark of course )

Is this goiing to be a regular meet then? Apologies if it says something in the thread but it got a bit long, and I was too lazy to search.

Would be up for coming along in the future but can't make next Tuesday.

Yes Edward. This is going to be a regular meeting as it is proving to be rather popular Quite a few people wanted to meet up next week, but I think, for the duration of the summer at least, it will be a fortnightly get together after that. I have suggested the first and third Tuesday of each month.

The thread is getting rather long isn't it? Time for a new thread I think!
