PEAK ROAD TRIP
Discussion
Really enjoyed yesterday - the route is defiantly I’d do again, albeit with some slightly better weather!
I’m treating the 4C to a good clean today as it’s absolutely filthy! Cambered wet roads don’t exactly inspire confidence in the Alfa but when it was dry at the start it was awesome tracking the 458 across the hills.
Good to meet you all, thanks for organising Ray, bring on the next one.

Glad you enjoyed it. The 458 is totally filthy too! The diffuser is still on at the back which is a bonus after me forgetting where the cattle grid was! If anyone has other road suggestions let's hear them. I'm definitely doing the last road again, but very early morning next time! In fact Moley, you should have joined at Uttoxeter and done the first stretch which was epic.

That last road was great but I agree; early morning. That area is a pain with tourists / Sunday drivers. If anyone has other road suggestions let's hear them. Any chance you could send the Uttocexter route over by PM? I’m not a million miles away so fancy that Ione morning.
Also to add, I went straight in at the cross roads where you and Neil turned right; some very good roads up there. The one down from the high point was good.
I also know of some other roads that would be good around Sheffield but would need to be done early before the walkers and climbers clog them up.

North Wales anyone?
I've started a new thread Here
Thinking of a stay over in North Wales followed by dawn raid on EVO triangle etc, ending up at eatery. Needs planning but if you are interested, start a provisional list on the new thread. Ideas on roads and places to stay very welcome.
