Anyone know a machine shop in the West Midlands that can skim a pair of discs off the car? Annoyingly google doesn’t seem to offer much, but given the rich engineering background locally there must be plenty of machine shops.

Thanks in advance!

Unless it's something quite rare, wouldn't you be better looking for new disks, given the prices these days?

Discs will be off the car anyway, replacements are about £300/pair. Still plenty of life left in terms of thickness just want to clear some light scoring.

I personally wouldn’t at £300 a pair just buy new that’s very reasonable I pay that a corner .

Are you planning on changing the pads at the same time?

If the discs are partially worn and need a further skim then it's a lot of wear.

What discs is it? Someone will guide you to the cheapest source.

If the discs are just lightly scored why throw them away and buy new for a 'mere paltry' 300 notes..

Anyone with a lathe can make them flat in a matter of minutes.

Consider the remaining thickness after skimming.

ECP have good discounts on Brembo and Pagid currnently.
