I reckon the rain is in for the duration, but the pub is nice and cosy, we will probably be the only ones there anyway, so no worries about fish junior singing off key

Indeed, I think I'm going to bale - I'm going to just tippy-toe home from work - I've not driven Chim in the wet yet, so hooning in the peaks is probably a bad plan! See y'all next time. Nick.

Rain, sorry folks but driving over in a bath tub don't appeal, better not rain Saturday though cos one of the mags is over at MK's, the manufacturer for whom i race with a few models for a photo shoot, that i cant miss

OOH! What mag and what cars?
Sorry you won't be coming over John.

It was great to see everyone again last night. And what a delight young Samuel was as he made his PH debut. It was lovely to see Lisa and James too after so long And fish and chips were great too. We must have looked quite a peculiar sight though, all lined up, sheltering in a warehouse doorway.

It's a Mini Adventure ...

Sorry about the hurried edit - will try and improve it before posting some others (which still await editing!)

I liked the 0-60 in about 3 weeks by the Trabant just after the chips.

I liked the way he went up the road the wrong way home 1st so he could turn around and get some speed up for when he passed us all eating our chips

Hear that kickdown, (adjacent to the chip-eaters), at 20mph from 4th to 1st, then the shattering performance through the cogs to top again.

Priceless, (but not bad for an old Eastern Block car costing £600 all-in to date!)

Oh yes! I'd forgotten about that. I reckon Iain must have gone half way to Bakewell, turned round, then passed us at his Vmax.
