I'm having my beetle convertible restored from bare metal. Its just come out of the paint shop and I've now go to think about the electrics and stuff.

Who's good in the Birmingham area for advice - supply - fit of car audio and alarms. and when I say 'good' I mean GOOD like you'd trust them with your daughters virtue, good

Rab at RABS Car Alarms in Small Heath. Established for years (before I even got a license) and a very enviable reputation. Not cheap but for quality and service, highly recommended.

Also Bassbox but it's changed hands a few times to can't comment on quality. Historically brilliant but recent news suggests things have changed.
