Ashby Folville - July 12th

Whew! Just back.
There was some real exotica there, but I can't help but feel that this event has got too big for its own trousers.
Amongst the throng:
Supaspark (& Minispark)
Maggit & Lady (Oops, I've forgotten your name, sorry)
Timbobalob
Mrs Bluecerbera (nice to meet you) & Mr BC
Flipflog Grip pointed out from a distance, but you'd evapourated before I got to say hello
...and about 2,000 others!
I'd imaging it'll be getting light again before some folk get off the cricket field!

Saw Maggit, 2 smokin barrels walking off into the distance, looking at the Skoda off road. The Northampton TVR car Club were there in full force.
A hell angel type of bloke on an American Police bike decided to shoot down in between the cars at about 9pm with his sirens on and flashing lights...
obviously his target was the cricket pitch centre crease..
unfortunatly for him there was a very thin (strong) piece of rope attached all aorund it and as we sipped on our beers watched him get pulled off his bike at 5mph to the great amusement of all the car owners.
Anyway very big event now and two fields full of cars and three bars doesn't quite work these days..may need to bring your own next time in a cool box.

Minispark and I left around 8pm (Had to get him home for bed) Took us 10 mins to find open road. The que in at that time was about a 1/2 mile long!!!! Three fields full tonight easy......That reminds me I must buy an Ice-cream Van...

Wow, what an evening - didn't realise it would be so HUGE. What a lot of stuff to look at. The drive there was a lot of fun too - that road is lovely.
Hello 2SB - good to meet you, I think the t-shirt works well.
That was very amusing, I tried my hardest not to chuckle but it was funny

I'm planning on trading up from the Chimaera!
Sorry we didn't meet Jamer!
That is a shame as I had a million pounds cashback in my back pocket for a straight swap to an near identical one to yours but 1 month newer.
Strange world we live in..
Anyway just took a picture of what was available
