I'll seeeee... otherwise anyone in the Midlands crew going to any events, CREAM 2005? etc etc..

There is a post on the Cerby board about starting local convoys to the event.. anyone thought about a Midlands one?

Dave.

Well the beetle made the best "entrance" IMHO anyhow, nice too meet lots of new people, got a bit damp on way over but kept dry on way back, catch you all in two weeks maybe.........

Most memorable car of the evening?.... Lots to choose from, but surely the Beetle walks away with it?

So the Beetle made it there - did it manage to get back as well?

it also made it to peterborough and back today too!

It was an interesting drive home last night - I had to strike a match to see if the headlights were on

bad news is the red light on the dash that has been getting fainter since saturday evening (when I said ooh, wonder what that light is on the dash ) finally died as I pulled up at my house this evening and since it wouldn't start in peterborough I can only assume that the alternator has shuffled off the mortal coil

so in a fit of pique, i'm shopping for a reliable yet interesting car, top of the list is an elise S2 or VX220, any other suggestions anyone?

Funniest bit of the evening was the door not shutting.

Good to catch up with everyone.
