What time will they stop serving food as we might not get there until about 8.30?

yippee, they fixed it faulty temperature sensor was putting the fan on when it shouldn't.I know I shouldn't be celebrating spending 80 odd quid when I was only there 20 minutes, but getting out of a Saab dealers with a bill for less than £500 is a top resultsee you all tonight.
(I would have been drinking water tonight either way Dawn doesn't drive outside Stafford).

79 bhp that'll be then!

I would be surprised if she uses more than 30 of them.

Sorry for having to leave this so late. Is the food all booked up? If not I'd like to add myself to the list (just one).

Thanks.

Carvery is 7.30 to 8.30-ish from a point of view of serving the grub, I seem to remember agreeing with the landlord.
Try and be there before 8.30.

I'm in the Trabant tonight.

(It's looking a bit better now!)

Painted up a bit, secondhand Wolfrace 'slot' alloys and some new low profiles, new shocks at the front, new rear light lenses, badges, etc.

New cylinder head and stand-alone K and N air filter, plus a pair of new rear shocks going on tomorrow.

Have a good one everybody.

I had hoped to make an appearance tonight but it seems we have a family meal arranged which will make the timing impossible - at least as far as arriving before everyone else leaves is concerned!

Maybe next time, though I am sure that something is conspiring to keep me from PH events. Nothing seems to get arranged on any other days...

Hi Baretti!

This is not an exclusive event. All are welcome and you don't even have to like cars that much to come along. The next meet is on Tuesday 16th August. No carvery next time, just a bag of chips in Matlock. Balmoral Green suggested a run out for an hour which sounds good to me. We'll be starting a new thread soon.

This is a map of how to find the White Lion:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=430000.893374416&Y=359000.886286716&width=500&height=300&gride=430113.893374416&gridn=358859.886286716&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=GB&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=0&scale=10000&out.x=6&out.y=10

At the junction, coming from Nottingham, where you go straight on for Matlock, left to Wirksworth and right to Lea and Crich, turn right. Follow the road straight for about 1,000yds or so. You will go around a sharp left bend, over a small bridge, and then take the first left up a very steep single track road. The surface is pretty awful. Keep straight on here and eventually you will come to a sign saying Matlock at the top of the hill. Carry on for about a quarter of a mile until you reach a village. The pub is on the right.
