Great night everyone. Nice to meet you all. As I am the first one to post, can I assume ou are all too hung over to be up yet?

So, what to tell? Well....

Emma has got some very good moves for the dancefloor;
Minimax has an interesting taste in clothes (unlike me, who has no taste in clothes)..

The food was good- who'd thought you could have Rogan Josh, peking duck, spicy potatoes, milk botles, jelly beans and trifle all on the same plate at the same time. Very exciting!

I had a great fun. Mallory today, anyone?

Will

Why thank you William. I really enjoyed the dancing - thanks! All I need to do now is learn to break dance

Hangover has gone now

Thanks everyone for another top night out. It was lovely to see you all again. I too thought that the food was fantastic - I only had the Indian food though

*I actually really liked Tom's shirt, but then I am a girl

I am sorry that you and Boosted could not make it. No doubt I'll be seeing you both at Matlock on the 11th

Just finished, wife is not happy with me at all, not eaten or slept properly for about 36 hours. When I go on a mad house cleaning bender, I really go off on one. I think taking a toothbrush to the condenser on the back of the fridge was a moment of crowning obsessiveness though, eclipsed only by taking the motor out of the Dyson so I could put it in the bath to soak.

Sorry I wasnt there for the night out, see you all at Starkholmes.

Yep I'm in but I'm taking a spark plug lead off before I go home. Ooops, my car doesn't have plug leads, bugger! Well, I just need more self control

Boosted.

Hi Will,

A fine night despite dipping out early on my part (if 1am can be classed as early.)

Slightly dampened by something going on in the stairway at the car park. Not sure what but ambulance in attendance and stairway closed so I had to get further exercise by walking the ramps.

Realised this morning that Mallory was not going to be an option for me, which was very sad 'cos it was a really nice day for photo's. Family stuff intervened - 1 daughter heading off south at about 2pm and the other north at about 5pm - which turned to 6 when the friend she offered a lift to arrived an hour late. Some people have no manners. To have headed for Mallory without announcing the intentions about a week previously would probably have resulted in serious personal injury so I thought better of it. That and feeling extremely tired for some reason - probably going to bed too early!

Next time there is something on would be good though. I don't think I have been to Mallory since August '73.

Poor show on my part.

I rather think you should have taken a break and come to the meet - there were people there who could have helped you (though not with the cleaning ...)

Mind you, as excuse me's go that has to be one of the best and surely the most fantastic I have ever read. I am genuinely impressed. My I borrow it at some future point, though absent the Dyson motor since we don't have one. I suppose a Hoover motor would be an OK if less sophisticated option?

You need help mate..

BTW, can suggest an excellent spot to have brunch while waiting for the hangover to subside. Polish/American fusion sort of thing.

Er.. Well Minimax can. I've got a vague feeling where it is, but the details are a little hazy. Probably the fumes from the taxi ride to and fro

Ah yes! The Polish Diner on the Derby Road, just off Canning Circus. That reminds me, I haven't done Sunday brunch there for quite some time.

This is getting a little surreal ... are they adding something 'special' to the water these days?
