I think that we will make it the 1st October.

We usually meet up from 7pm onwards, but sometimes a few of the crew meet for drinks mid-afternoon

Venue will be decided on nearer the time.

Okleys, October 1st it is. I reckon it is time for a proper day of it, propose lunch and drinks, followed by drinks, maybe a walk around the city centre, a drink or two, some shopping, maybe the cinema or the castle as I like the gallery, especially Marcus Stones 'In love', drinks, meet up with the lightweights at 7pm, more drinks, dinner. I think I will hotel it this time for the night.

Is that a plan?

That's a bloody good plan. Unless I get a commission from 'Vogue' , I'll be well and truely up for an all-dayer and quite possibly an all-nighter too

Given my past record, might need to nip off for a tactical doze if I go for another all day session before we meet for pre dinner drinks..

Wake me up for the soup..

Can I confirm nearer the time, I've been forced to adopt major money saving mode as the racing lark is causing me to haemorrhage money.

[shameless plug]Anyone want to sponsor me[/shameless plug, sorry Ted]

Sorry! Already remortgaged once this year

Seriously, I think I suggested the tacky No1 Chinese Buffet and Restaurant on George Street initially, then floated the idea of the Red Hot Buffet. Matt_fp gave the latter the
