A few sample shots for a flavour of the event.

Redgate Car Park (part of ...)

Is it just me or are drivers looking ever younger these days?

A couple of action shots taken with a pocket digital at the limit of its operating range.

A recovered Megane.

A different recovered Megane. I heard later that one had ended up on its roof at the Fogarty Esses - may have been this one.

A couple of old nails from the Renault Historic collection ...

Seven De Loreans on display. Some of them here.

Alpines.

Getting ever older ...

Ancient and modern (or is that a 1903 mobile phone?)

Ragnotti in the Maxi 5

Engine of the 5 being fettled between runs.

The boys in the UK series having fun ...

Clios:

Shame about the fence post and being out of focus - but apart from that ....

Another fence post - but the damage was caused by the back of another Clio.

Tom Onslow-Cole was good value for a shot or two - rallycross style at Coppice

And after a bit more practice ...

By Sunday at Redgate he was still trying hard ...

Saturday qualifying was a bit wet for the World Series boys.

More of their antics later.

OK, here are some shots of the quite entertaining World Series boys having some fun.

Another wet qualifying shot.

From the first (sprint) race - Melbourne hairpin.

And the second race (45mins and required pit stop) from Redgate.

This guy had a hectic weekend. Off in the wet during the Saturday qualifying. Seemed to be off in the Sprint race on Sunday as well and dropped well down the field. Battling along in the longer race when he was taken out by his team mate (second shot below) at Redgate.

And the winner ....

(You may notice all sorts of marks on the pics - dust on the scanner when I had the film processed and no time to clean them up. And they missed an entire film off the CD - again. But then 5x36 exposure films develpoed and 4 reaching the CD (no prints) for £1.98 - I guess I can't complain too much!)

The Megans (why did they give this car a Welsh female name?) ... a few sample shots from the race on Sunday.

Just found this thread.
Great Pictures.
Great event.
Saturday was wet enough to be a regatta.
Sunday was better but still slippery on the track.
