Can someone please tell me where the pub is? If its not too far i'd like to come and bring my Aston.
Thanks,
Will
From your profile I would say it might be a fair distance unless you have moved or are travelling in the region. However I am sure we would all love to see the Aston so don't let that put you off!
Here's a link to the address
www.pubinnguide.com/pubdetailsidx3760.asp
and you can click on the link to the map from that page OR this should get you the map as well;

It's a very scenic area so worth the trip.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
the sheffield supercar is still not on the road, it developed handbrake cable problems 3 hours before I was due to pick it up and the part was a custom built jobby (they made only 55 and way back in 1991-1993) so it has to be made bespoke which takes tiiiiiiiiiiime.
so i'm currently still hurtling about in the mini while wondering which other car to buy..
while I was at it I asked the garage to upgrade the brakes so now instead of stopping sooner it will simply lock up a lot easier not to worry, done it now.
i've been offered a set of four dell'orto carbs plus four branch mainfolds plus other bits and pieces which will increase the hooligan threshold quite spectacularly, being as their demonstrator when roadtested for 'Performance Car' in 1992 posted 0-100 in 9.1 seconds so i'm quite tempted with that too...
edit they were built by the garage, macdonald racing not Ginetta Cars and they were known as the Ginetta G33 Rapide

No meal this time, as far as I am aware.
I thought the meal-evening I sorted out was quite successful, so as long as others agree with that thought, perhaps we can do it again in the near future?
Maybe every other month could be a sit-down meet?
Any thoughts?
1 in 4 meets would be a meal!

PS
Bring the 355. Tell whoever that you are busy, man!
My job being what it is at 5pm all could be honky dory, just about to exit the door, then by 5.15 it may all turn to $hite. Or not. Hopefully!!
P.S. are there many scamera's or coppers around that area coz my driving can be...ahem...spirited to say the least!

There is a Travelo just past the junction of the Nottingham road and the A6 at Ambergate. It is just after the big pub on the left.
