I used to live in one of the villages out that way. Now living in Bingham. Often use one of the garages in Bottesford for work on the motors!

Ravenshead...not too far away. Are you going to Ashby Folville next meet? Not that far from you either!

I live in Bottesford, down near the church. Nice and close to all three pubs! My first stab at village life - Sherwood and Wollaton previously - but really enjoying it - unfortunately rarely get to Nottingham nowadays though. Drive to Derby most days - but A52 getting sooo tedious now with all the cameras...

Sean.

Seano, it's my first stab at village life aswell, only been there 3 weeks, think I might like it. Have to travel to the office at Mapperley most days but that back road out of Bottesford is fun !!. What do you drive ??

Drive my Saab most days, but if the weather's good I go the back roads through Langar, Cotgrave, Plumtree etc. in the TVR (Chimaera). There are some great country roads around Bottesford but watch out for cyclists - came over the brow of a hill a few days ago (on a lane wide enough for two cars) to find a whole family dithering about in the middle of the road

Do you go through Orston, Car Colston, Lowdham and Lambley then? Not a bad route that - and is pretty good at avoiding traffic.

I presume you no longer have the 944 then Charlie? What colour is your Golf? I'll keep a look out for you! Not too many sports cars in the village that I've seen - there's a couple of Elises, an Elan and a Corvette - but who knows what people keep hidden away! Which part of the village do you live in?

Come to think of it I have more fun in the Golf than I used to have in the 944.
It helps I have had a couple of Golfs previously, Mk2 8v, Mk 3 VR6... so easy to drive and when set up right handle so sweet. I will keep my eyes open for you.
