This ain't helping too much so far - everyone has picked both of them!!
Are we meeting in the Ham of Notting or the Cester of Lei or is that also undecided?
I can do either date in Nottingham as I am just outside the city centre, Leicester may be a bit different. Nottingham is the best city for clubbing though - we can all go to Ocean
Carry on....

So, who is for Nottingham and who is for Leicester? I have a bed for the night in Leicester, but I'm afraid I would not be able to find a place to rest the heads of my drunken friends who were going to stop over at mine if we did a Nottingham night. Ocean? Wash your mouth out Ben!

I'm sure that Hell would have a certain appeal after 73 pints

Hi William, good to meet up the other day, I hope your exhaust is now sorted.

I work in Nottingham, colleagues often use the Jury's Inn near the station to stop over but I don't know about prices etc. Dave

My preference is Nott'num, but I've nothing seriously against Leicester, Nott'num's more convenient, that's all.

So Nottingham looks good at the moment, what about a venue?
I am guessing Ocean is out (cos it's crap!) so do we want a meal then clubbing or do we want to go to bars?
Plenty of clubs to choose from: Jumpin Jaks, Oceana, Isis and a few thousand bars as well. As for the meal, I have no idea as I am a poor student eating beans on toast every meal time so I haven't experienced Nottingham's culinery scene!

Have you actually stayed there though, as opposed to checking in then checking out 20hours later???

As for venue, I'd prefer curry then bars; that night last January (?) when we did the route via the Trip was good, then I guess those who want to go clubbing can go to the likes of the Cookie club after last orders.

Any thoughts?

The general concensus last time was that 4151 odd miles from Delhi on Maid Marion Way was excellent. I thought that that would be a good spot. The Trip was good too. We could pop in there after the meal for one then check out some other bars. And why break with tradition; I'm definitely on for the Cookie Club

Any bar other than the hotel opposite and Browns would be good to meet in.

4151 miles from delhi is shirley the way forward for decent curry in the city centre, then how about the pub next to the indian on st james' street (the same street as the cookie club) - live music, nice beer and high ceilings plus a pleasant mezzanine

Sounds like a plan. And the mezzanine will offer the perfect perch for your bird spotting
