Convoy to Pistonfest

Thought i would start a thread nice and early to see how many were going from up this neck of the woods and see about creating a nice convey to get there.
The girlfriend and me are going. Promised her drink and music!
Anybody else fancy driving downin a group??

I'm going to be a miserable old cow and say "No!" Things always seem to crop up at the last moment (such as HT lead breaking as I left for Megahoon, leaving nubbin waiting for me for 2 hours) and I don't like messing people around. I will no doubt catch up with some fellow Midlanders over the weekend though I'm really looking forward to this

OK, if we are going to try to convoy, what day and what time suits folks?

I will probably be leaving Belper on the Saturday morning reasonably early, at around 9am.

But,

there is still a chance I may be going on the Friday afternoon instead though, leaving at around 4pm as soon as BG junior gets out of school.

This may be a difficult one to organise to please everyone.

I was thinking of Saturday morning as well. Can't do the Friday as the g/f wants to go down the pub.
Any idea of which way you will be going to get there??

Just been speaking to John (Fort Jefferson), another possible for the Saturday morning, I will do the Saturday too. I think Fish was thinking likewise.

So, Saturday AM departure from the Derby/Notts area, 9-10am'ish, possibles so far:

Balmoral Green, Bentley Turbo R.
Fish, Ariel Atom.
Fort Jefferson, Audi S4.

i'll be coming up from london on the friday I think, unless I have a change of heart and go for a night out in nottingham on the friday which is a slight possibility..it'd be quite cool to convoy with you lot, as long as it isn't warren and I booting it for a while before slowing to 40mph waiting for you lot to all catch up!

Right, after a discussion last night at the pub, we are thinking Saturday, 10 am Leicester Forest East on the M1, not sure which junction number, maybe someone else knows?

Any other options or is that ok??
