Unfortunately I can't make this one I have an IAM Observers and Committee meeting.

Why not take them along?

They wouldn't like our parking, drinking and chippying Would you want one of them in your back seat?

Boosted.

once again, it's a Tuesday when I'm away with work - won't be able to make it to Starkholmes or to the IAM meeting - I will make it to one this year - promise!

I know that Ben is coming with me, but does anyone have a postcode for the place or does it have a website?

Just for piece of mind you see.

BMW 535d, Nissan 350Z and Vauxhall Monaro 5.7 hopefully coming as a trio tomorrow.
Forecast is grotty though.

Question:

Its raining outside, the car is reasonably clean with a few mud splats on it.

Should I go outside, in the rain, and give the once over with the sponge?

Leave it. It will only be crudded up again by the time you get to the pub. It will be dark and wet and cold, so no one is going to be in the car park admiring it. The pub will be warm and cosy, and Scary Mary awaits at the chippy with a scowl and a pie.

I may turn up. Its rather dependent on wether my auto electrics bloke can work out why the BMW keeps on blowing the headlight fuses. After all the heavy rain the Scimitar now has a pond in the drivers side footwell. Not been a very good time on the car front recently
