Some dark-coloured 50-something plate estate on the M1 near J28 on Sunday night; could have been an Accord Estate (possibly the one mentioned above). Sorry for the lousy description - it was pitch black, raining, and I tore past it at 0.9 speed units whilst someone else was getting busted on the hard shoulder!

I don't know if this counts as Midlands or South West but I say a mossy green / mushy pea green Saab 9-3 with winscreen and bonnet lights chasing something down the M5 between the M50 junction and the Tewkesbury junction on Friday.

I've saw a dark, probably black, unmaked Volvo estate around the M42/M5 junction last year - TE55 B**. Also saw a dark grey unmarked Mondeo ST220 strolling through Cotteridge a few weeks back, so it may be around the area.

i saw the same volvo last week pull a car over on the m42
