I've been up to newcastle to see my little house and decided to quit my new job and move back, but while all the dust settles again I might nip down to matlock and have a pint with you chaps so when is it then?

Oooh, an evening out in the Midlands. Haven't done that for ages. Might well be around for that next Tuesday. And Tom, you can crash at mine/grab a lift from/to there if need be.

It would have been nice to see you all again but I'm in Spain...

I must organise a BBQ or shooting, maybe take people out in the Atom...

4x4 Panda? No. It does have a great big oil leak from underneath that'll hopefully be fixed by the time I pick it up tomorrow, though. Fingers crossed ! <looks nervous>

Oil leak?

You've bought a supertanker!

Or are you going to need one to fuel the thing..

Well, given that the cars I've bought in the last 3 years have a combined displacement of 21.7 litres, what do you think?

"Must try harder" for me. Damnit.

I'm still quite proud of my 1.4 Pug 206 getting onto its third driveshaft by 30,000 miles - given the total lack of torque it makes, I count that as a real achievement!

I think we have a rival for Minimax in terms of ability to break an otherwise perfectly servicable vehicle..

Then there's the three gearboxes, three clutches, and two radiators in 3 weeks in the 620 armchair rocket.
The (full) 6 months and out of 11 I owned it that the Tuscan was off the road.
The accidental purchase of a two wheel drive 4WD Explorer.
The fact I've bought three cars off Ebay - unseen - in the last 18 months.

Hmmm, I think I should stick with the Passat If it wasn't for the fact that was one of the cars from eBay... which the seller forgot to mention didn't come with the VW key/alarm fob!
