I don't mind a starkholmes team, plus I'll ask a couple of mates over the weekend. They'll be up for it if they're free.

I'm definitely up for it. Should be good fun.

Should be at least 3 in our team.

welcome aboard Shred-head

paddy = anyone looking to "buddy up" into a team will be set aside this friday and all teams will be finalised over the following week prior to the event.

just make sure everyone knows these are NOT run of the mill go karts, they are twin engined pro karts, as in not the ones you find at your local go kart place, more likly to be found at the british go kart GP championships so you must realise anymore than 20 laps and your gonna be exhausted (unless your a pro kart champion)

we can hold 100 people for this event, would be good if we can get 100 people to join us

Evening Gary, Just got back from Brands Hatch, we got a 5th Today so good result all round, just an update for the 18th August, I can confirm 6 Karts for KD, add that to your already list, we can maximise the karts to about 25 on the evening "Minimum 2 per Kart Max 4 People per Kart". If anyone would like to have a Hog Roast on the evening please let Gary know so final costings can be totalled up, as everyone can expect the evening is very hectic and as Gary has already pointed out, a couple of laps for anyone that hasnt done any Karting really does take it out of you!!!!!

....what time on friday are you thinking about. I have a too many patients to move if starts before 3pm but could possibly wangle an early finish. I love karting but i've never tried any as fast as these, i would love to give them a go

right link works now, yes they look like they are the same, twin honda engined pro karts.

im not sure how bit the stretton track is though, sayx max 10 cars so im confident
PFI is a much bigger circuit.

...how long will it take me to get there on a friday afternoon. I work near Donington so junction 24 M1. I'm struggling to finish before 5pm. What is the format for the event i.e. what is the latest i could trot up. Also does anyone need another member in their team....I guarantee i won't be a weak link!

You should make it in an hour Nobby, I'm in Leicester and can do grantham in around an hour. I'm sure a few minutes late won't matter too much.

/EDIT = Just Google Map'd it, and it's further North than Grantham, nearer to Newark so may take longer.
