I've had a few good ones recently, on Sunday the 10th I saw a lovely lemon yellow Porsche 993 in Bubbenhall and on Saturday the 16th a saw a couple of Donkervoorts in a convoy of Such kit cars on the Hilmorton Road in Rugby. On Sunday the 17th I saw a very nice E24 6 Series by Warwick Parkway.

Many, many years ago when I lived near to Pride Park I regularly used to see a brand new (at the time) space grey E60 M5 with the plates XX05 MEL and then AX05 MEL. I'd always assumed that was Mel Morris as the driver was your average balding middle aged white guy.That random bit of trivia has always stuck in my head as the missus is a dyed in the wool Rams fan who often fawns over what it'd be like to be Mrs Morris with all of Mel's money!
Back on topic, a white 918 has been sat in the window of Nottingham Porsche for the last couple of weeks, and a few days ago I followed a car carrier out of Porsche that has several brand new Macans & Cayennes alongside a new GT2 RS and GT3 RS, both covered in white shrouds, including separate wrappers for the alloys, the only exposed parts were the exhausts and tyres - I'm guessing on their way to the next showroom and very lucky new owners!

I can't be certain, but it's likely that the 918 is/was Mel Morris'. I know he definitely bought a white 918 from the Porsche dealer in Notts, and it was the only 918 that Porsche dealer sold from new. It's been in the window for a couple of weeks, and Graypaul have got a silver/martini livery 918 at the moment too.
The Martini one has been in Graypaul for ages....
Pretty sure this one was Mr Morris' 918, in Porsche Notts on the Boxster launch night a few years ago.
Last week I saw a McLaren 720S Y29 MCL three times, twice very close to Ancaster (Lincolnshire), and the third on the A1 near Newark.
I've not seen a P1 yet, but after the a few slightly lacklustre McLarens I have to say this 720S looked rather good.
