I'm in Retford, North Notts, which I guess is classed as the Midlands. I dont stray too far especially now the weathers turned, so I probably wont get 'spotted'.

This looks great! A bit of a contrast from an M5 - good one!

Has it been modified much other than the wheels? You should atleast add it to your 'Garage' in your user profile.

Hey
It has got a few things done to it, The front grill has been re designed, basing it on a ferrari type of look, the engine is the 1.5 with some racing cams, the fuel tank has been moved to the front of the car to help with balance (not going to help in a crash......) There are strengthening beams down the middle of the car, sure there is some more but its all little details that have been worked on. The chap who built it is a specialist with them, he used to have one with a alfa V6 in, the first one was hit by a van which was a big shame, this is another one thats been worked ok http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqOSPIJylaI

Very nice indeed James!
I always hated those American style bumpers they put on the S2's. I've owned a couple of X1/9'S in the past, always had a soft spot for them they're lovely looking cars. I though yours was a S2 with the S1 bumpers on it and a modified grill, but having read your post it's a bit more than just that wink Have to say it made my day seeing your car, it looks ace!

My 2nd one:
