Ooops, Sorry Claire.....I love MFN....I guess you's better pray for wet n windy weather ;-) xxx
Yep RogerDee & me have alternated Wed's nts between the Griffin & MFN, & to be fair our cars & trikes prob made more noise than our bike, it doesn't mean we are going any quicker, like most piston heads we like to hear a throaty motor.Long may it be so

Does anyone go to the bikers pub at coalville on thursday nites its really good everyone is very friendly and its a nice run out! And always rammed with bikes and trikes! !
Exhibited in the custom show, & they have some great rallys at the vic, but now the nights are drawing in, bike nights die off, the rally scene carrys on all year, we will do the MFN events, I should think the Toy run too, then the bike moves into the living room, why have an Xmas tree, when you can have an Xmas bike. :-)Well put Roger, a great season, it gives us all good reason to bring our toys out all summer.
Ow that Ducati last nt was a Diavel ducatis answer to the Vmax, & at 1198cc the biggest Duke yet, it was a bit quite, but I'm sure it won't be long before theirs an after market system out for it.
Ride/drive safe all
See you next year we hope

I'm an ex biker myself (non bike related knee injury stopped me riding
bikes years ago), but I just get pissed off with the bikers who think
that 30mph speed limits, and maybe a bit of common courtesy to the people
who's homes they are going past in the evening, doesn't apply to them.
The 30mph limit in Brinsley is there for a reason - its a built up area,
with driveways, pedestrian crossing, bus layby's etc - and it applies to
everyone, including bikers. The Police keep promising the village they will
do something about the problem of speeding, but sadly resources are lacking.
Yes, we all like a bit of speed and a throaty exhaust, thats why we're on PH,
but please spare a thougth for the hundreds of families (like us) on your
way to and from MFN on a Wednesday evening who are trying to get babies and
young children to sleep, and find it totally impossible due to the continuous
racket of speed and noise from 6pm till gone 10pm.
I'm not having a go, I'm just asking people to show a bit of consideration, if
not for the laws of the road, then at least the residents of the towns and villages
you travel through - thats all - it that really too much to ask for?
