Haynes Motor Museum - monthly meet. 1st Sun of Month

Fantastic, seems quite a few are planning to go along from different communities I am signed up to so should be another good turn out! I'll be taking the camera so hopefully get all of your cars on my next video!

Planning on going from sidmouth in the rallye, Either from the services or independently or possibly not at all depending on how Mrs shed receives the news (its the boys Bday tomorrow)

Going to try and make it this time although have to take 2 cars as the mrs wants to have a drive in the 6 :O

Cars a bit dirty though as I haven't cleaned it since returning from Le man classic

Just in case anyone is interested there is a autojumble / car show about 10 miles from Haynes @ the Shepton Mallet showground.

On the day entry £10 but just £5 for the driver of a classic / interesting car. (Just follow signs for the Classic Car Park)
So you can 'do' Haynes & then drive home via the autojumble / car show.
I went yesterday. As an autojumble it's pretty small - at least compared to Beaulieu - but if you are looking for that elusive bit? The Classic Car Park was excellent.

I'm guessing it was probably at Brooklands 2009, so a good while ago! - was it this one? I used to live in Surrey but now I'm in Exeter, Haynes is an hour away from me.

There is nothing on the website but I do have the flyer with me.

In addition to the info I posted earlier it simply says Restoration Open Morning, Sunday 4th December and gives the website address & a phone number 01963 442790


I'd like to have a look but I'll probably not bother - looks like it's going to be dry but with temperatures around freezing......

Fantastic turnout today - especially given it was hovering around freezing most of the time. (Carpark was sheet ice in places!) By 08:50 the front carpark was full and people were being directed on to the track. The guided tour of the MOT/Servicing/Storage/Restoration areas was good too - lots to see. (£18k fuel tank service on an XJ220 anyone?! Or £60k Dino Spider body restoration?)
