I think its been long enough. Lets do one.
I had the same convo at Haynes last week with a few people.
Giles, are you going to this Cheddar meet? I think we will try and come along, maybe both GTR's if paintwork finished on mine otherwise it'll be just Ian'sI had the same convo at Haynes last week with a few people.
After reading this thread I'm interested in this.
I drive through the gorge all the time, and am sick of the corsa/saxo kids who leave the road covered in skid marks (and in the middle of the road right where other drivers need to be).
They gather at night and just make loads of noise and leave litter.
Now I've read this thread it sounds like a good event and it would be nice to meet other local members.
The only issue is whether I'll get time to actually get my car clean enough for a meet
I go to meets with other clubs and they often happen at museums or event places or shows like Ford Fair.
What does everyone do once you've all met up in the gorge?

The attendance list can be found here if you want to sign up. Even if you're not signed up you're very much welcome to turn up...it's a public road/car park
Sunday is shaping up to be a great day weather wise so hopefully this meet will be well attended. I did plan to advertise this Cheddar meet at Queen Sq on Sunday with some flyers but didn't have time to get anything produced. I'm sure a few of the Queen Sq group will be attending this one.
I have been monitoring some of the other forums and so far there are no mentions of this meet which is great news as you only have to google "Pistonheads Cheddar meet" to see how widely advertised the previous meets were.
Hopefully we get a few more people signing up this week....

Just seen this!
Hoping to come from across the bridge. I'm going to start a thread in South Wales and see if anyone wants to meet at Magor Jnc 23a services?
ETA: Here's some photos from the 2010 meet https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.38113863... I wasn't old enough to drive then but now have my own GTA to attend in!
