I need to have my caterham transported 12 miles to a garage for work. I've now had 2 quotes for £100 which seems mad money.
Does that sound right?
Thanks

Sounds about right for a business that's properly insured. Presumably you don't have a friend or acquaintance with trailer who can do it for you? Otherwise the garage won't come and collect it as part of the work...?

Good advice, the garage should know someone, if it's not time critical , i.e. Any time next week , it will be a great infill cash job for someone

Second option can it be towed, as long as the engine runs you will have a primed servo & thus brakes

Thanks all. I'm running into minimum call out charges it seems. All sorted now, sadly was time limited.

Guy based in Cullompton way does any vehicle shifting for me. If not in a rush, typically £30/£40 for the kind of journey you want.

Called LVL logistics. Anthony is guys name. Sure he is on facebook/google etc.
