AV8 Breakfast Meet Cotswold Airport

Hi All,

Our Next AV8 Breakfast meet at Cotswold Airport is this Sunday the 17th!! All types of classic, retro and performance cars are welcome and we have been getting great turnouts. The postcode is GL7 6BA and we go from 9am until just after mid day with breakfast served at the cafe until 11:30am.

We run these breakfast meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month even in the Winter. We park out the back of the airport on the old airstrip with the propped plane and then walk round for breakfast so we dont fill the closer car park. It will be sign posted anyway. Please be aware that this is private land and we have permission to be there so wer ask that everyone behaves and obeys the speed limit on the airfield.

On behalf of myself and all the kit car guys at kitnet.uk Ross, I will try and get some of us there but we are VERY weather dependent! Atm it is not looking too great but things can and do change as we know. Good luck with it if we don't make it mate. Cheers, Steve

Tt blew up and yesterday the cambelt snapped on the bora .so now driving a focus diesel

Thanks to those who came along. Just a quick note to say we are sorry for the three cars that decided it was a good place to do burnouts. They were not a part of Slip&Grip members group and we do not condone such antics. We have reported the plates directly the airport security and banned from any further events. We pride ourselves on putting on these breakfats meets for those who are sensible with there classic, retro and performance cars on site.

Hi Ross, had signed up for this on your website (my first meeting with Slip&Grip!) although have been to Kemble a few other times with various car clubs (TVR & Jag).

Wickes (Bumpers Farm roundabout) is only 10 minutes from me; is it ok to meet up with you and the others there for 8am and the journey up? Also might have a mate coming with me in his cla amg.

I will be there but am not driving my car. A mate of mine is taking his Radical round though. Trust me get a ride in that one! He's an ex race driver and can lap Combe in 1:06 !!!
