BMW specialist in South Somerset or East Devon?

Can anyone recommend an independent BMW specialist in the Chard/Ilminster type area? Just picked up an E46, which appears to be behaving itself so far, but I figured it was worth locating someone who understands them!

There's Grants in Wellington who are BMW specialists. Never used them but they've been around a long time.

Would definitely recommend them over the outfit I used in Galmington Taunton who claim to be a bmw specialist. Won’t name and shame but you should stay away from them.

Pop down the 303 or 30 to Eden Motors in Yeovil.

I used to use Paddock Motors when they were at Fenny Bridges. They've moved now to Oaklands garage on the A3052 half way between Exeter and Sidmouth.

I used them last time, after I went to the main dealer with a sticky handbrake and the main dealer said I needed £1500 of work to replace the entire rear brake system and leaking rear calipers and replace a coil spring.

Paddock put it on a ramp, said "see the leak?". I said "no", and they said "neither can we".

Stripped, cleaned, reassembled, and new coil springs, for over a grand less than main dealer.

The main dealer did a courtesy follow up call a week later and asked if I'd recommend them to anyone. I said "Trading Standards". TS weren't interested as I didn't let the dealer do the work.
