Right, now the creative juices are flowing: what does Senor Inspiration think we should do this time?

Silence, philistine! Is not His proclamation of a curry enough? Let us not test Him further, for His thoughts are beyond our mortal comprehension.

And we want to get this sorted before autumn...

Behold!! The holy Balti dish!

We could terrorise Sodding Chipbury and it's environs, before retiring to the Royal Raj in Winterbourne. The car park is a bit rough, but should be flat enough.

Is this a regular meetup? Also, is it an open invite (e.g. Can I come? ). Not sure I can make this one as i've pretty much bankrupted myself this month, but would like to join you chaps for one of these meetings.

We are not worthy! The holy man of ideas has come up with some wise words!

And it shall be so..... unless anyone has got a better idea.

Heretic!! How dare you question the excellence of my plan!!

Having said that... The weather is looking particularly average, so we might be better going somewhere in town.

The more the merrier. It's usually a monthly meet, and we can probably find someone to put you up if needs be.

I ventured out along the A370 to find the "Indian in the Petrol Station" at Cleeve that I was promoting in the absence of Einstein, and when I got as far as Congresbury thought I must have imagined it. But, coming back, there it was! Tucked in next to the Japanese Import centre, it's called the Bombay Raj and looked OK, although the flower borders out front needed some TLC.

Will test food and report for next time.

But let us now gather in the Rough Car Park of Chipping Sodbury...

Anyone for death karting?

Right, I've managed to get an hotel in town this time, rather than be half way to Gloucester as I was when I failed to turn up last time.. If we are out for a run around somewhere, would anyone take pity on a TVR owner who is reduced to a daily hack whilst the insurance co argue as to whether they will fix it or write it off? Offers of lifts from anythig more exciting than a 220,000 mile audi diesel will be accepted..

Alternatively, if we are having a beer out of town I#m happy to give 3 or 4 people a lift to/from town..

We all up for this, then? Bill's link's not working for me - anybody care to pinpoint via Multimap or similar?

Multimap here The post code is BS36 1JN, but that's for the whole of the west side of the High street. The restaurant is actually on the junction with the B4057/Beacon Lane.

The weather is still looking pants, but where and when do we want to meet up? And what time shall I book the table for?

Pants weather means I'll be forced to come along in an Alfa. Still, at least this may make me socially acceptable to Scorcher if he graces us with his presence...

Forgive me for losing the plot a bit... are we headed for a pub & then this curry house in WB, or bimbling around CS and then heading straight for a cuzza?

Have chatted to Steph and she can't make it, so Clare may well be the only partner present.

Are you planning to take the LandRover cross country? And have you stripped all the seats out of it yet?

If not, "The Shed" is available!

Claire is unlikely to make it. And the Landy may be our most practical vehicle, but still only has 2 seats...

Bascially, are we:

(a) in summer mode, i.e. going for a drive (around Chipping Sodbury) and then straight for a curry in Winterbourne

or

(b) in winter mode (seeing as the forecast's cr4p) and therefore heading to a pub in Winterbourne and then on to the curry house?

The George and Dragon is on Winterbourne Hill.

7.30 ok? Curry at 8.30?
