I need to get a front bumper for my Z4 painted and wondered if anyone had any recommendations in the Taunton/Bridgwater/Burnham on Sea areas?

The bumper is being bought second-hand, so is loose and will be delivered for spraying off the car. I will strip it of grills and fog-lights, etc. It needs some minor blemished making good then re-spraying and clear coting in the same colour (Sterling grey). I have no experience of getting cars/parts painted, so would appreciate any wise words or advice you may be able to offer.

I can highly recommend TCS Bodyworks in Honiton (was Axminster). Tomas (owner) is a top bloke who really knows his stuff. He resprayed my TVR last year.

Look through his photos and you will find some of my Rolex Blue Chimaera.

Cary at Drive Vauxhall bodyshop in Weston-s-Mare - has completed several jobs on clients cars (non Vauxhall's) prior to me Detailing them and all have been of an excellent standard.

Holley autobodies in Taunton recently did some work on a simple job for me, their work was only just adequate and they took 50% longer than they said.

My Clio 200 is currently at SC Performance in Taunton having a previous repair stripped back and done properly. Can't tell you how good their work is until I get it back but Stuart has a good reputation.

Hibbard Automotive in Thorncombe might be worth a call. I've yet to have any bodywork done there, but their mechanical work is first rate and they have a proper body shop on site. Often various classic and performance cars around too. It's where I plan to take my Chimaera once the mechanical stuff is finished.

Never heard of Charlie's Classic & Custom Body before but I checked out their Facebook page and they are truly talented.
BTW, I got my Clio back and the job and service was adequate, that's all I shall say!
