I'll give you a lift.

I wonder where we'll be going?

If my motorbicycle is in ship shape condition i'll make a concerted effort to make this one. Will check this thread closer to the time.

Id love to come if that’s ok?

I’ve just moved to Bristol, so would be good to meet some like minded petrol maniacs

I think we qualify. With your PH username can we assume you've built an Ultima of the wind in your hair variety?

Urm well actually I went to see Ted at the factory last weekend, and on reflection maybe the CanAm name thingy might be a bad idea as the GTR is more suited to racing as the FIA cage will fit without being too obvious.

So my order is going in around August time

For the moment I have to make do with a pug

Excellent.

You'll of course realise we have a bloody good Ultima forum on PH. Regular posters include "Stig" (forum moderator) who did a very good detailed report on the build of his first Ultima, Gman who has the fastest Ultima in the world! Oh and Bluesatin who built his car with a traction system which lets you set how many degrees of powerslide you want before it kicks in.

sounds cool to me if there's room for an RVF

it does depend on the time though, what time are we usually roughly talking about?

Meeting time is the one aspect on which we are usually fairly consistent. 7.30pm

I have had a good look through both sites that Chris has written for the GTR and the new Can Am Very comprehensive it has to be said.

Although I think he must have a love for his garage, cos to hold down a full time job, build an Ultima and write a website detailing the whole thing is rather difficult

Agreed - we usually have snags waiting for the ideas man to stoke his fires up to produce white smoke before the location becomes clear....

I assumed we'd be going to Yertis's A370 curry filling station.

Didn't the natives scare you off? Brave man.

My name is Bill and I'm a curryholic. I'm going for my second curry this week tonight, and it's only Monday

This is only 9 days away now.

Has our decisions guru decided where we are going and wether the venue warrants a hoon prior to arrival?

What would the route most likely be?

mental note - must take bike rack off back of car - air brake will slow down car - need every ounce of oomph

Edited to add: Could bring along bike on car to show off said bike, speed and stability seemed not to be a problem when hitting the hump back bridge out past Wedmore at nigh on 80 mph...

Edited to add again for clarity: Did not hit hump back bridge on said bike at 80 Mph. That would be silly.

Depending on how late we are it could just be a trundle up the A370

I guess if we're mostly driving then a pub stop is unnecessary, so the route could be a little more involved leading straight to a curry at, say, 9pm?

There must be something wrong, it's more than a week to go, we have a time, a venue and a plan... I'm off to the bookies to put money on it raining (or worse) next Thursday
