Police all over the Downs yesterday 5pm

Anyone know what they were doing? They seemed to be pulling over radom cars. Don't think it was a speed check as there wasn't anything further down from where they were pulling people over.

No idea, but in the current climate fo 'must check everything for bombs' I guess they had a tip-off, or doing random checks to keep 'them' on their toes.

It could be the rather large percentage of men disappearing into the bushes?

I go for a walk up there everyday, and its amazing the number of blokes that drive up alone then wander off for a chat.
