Annual New Years Day meet at Bridgwater cattle market.
I'm reasonably local to there, i thought the old cattlemarket (behind the Newmarket pub) was all housing now?Edited by markymarkthree on Monday 18th December 08:04
But as you are "reasonably local" you will know it is at Greenslade Taylor Hunt - Sedgemoor Auction Centre and has been for many years. TA6 6DF for anyone not "reasonably local".

I moved down to Gloucestershire last September so interested to see what meets are going on.
I found Queen Square Car Club who are Bristol based but now meet just off the A38 north of Bristol, attended their first meet yesterday and it was excellent. I hope to attend others as they're monthly. Well worth looking up on FB and not your usual bunch of popping Fiestas either, some genuinely interesting stuff.

It’s a fair run up from Cornwall but it’s one I would like to get to at some point.

No, this is a 4 week catch up with Kiwi family, about every 5 years.
We'll be safely back in Cornwall by late on Monday. Feb 17th meet sounds fine.
Maybe worth checking out the Facebook group. Shout if you have any trouble. Morwellham is a nice venue. Plenty of space and works well for pictures. It’s a ticketed event but you choose what to donate. Personally I go with £5 as that seems right to me.We'll be safely back in Cornwall by late on Monday. Feb 17th meet sounds fine.

Try looking for “Cars & Coffee @ CMR “ the meets use to be held at the detailers Classic Modern and Retro. Those guys are part of the crew that make it happen so the CMR bit has stuck even though we’re at Morwellham now we need more space.

I hope that helps

2nd Saturday in the month, there has been a meet in Clevedon, Six Ways, Belleview Rd area for the last year or so
A couple of snaps from Saturday.

I keep meaning to have a look at that, but I was told it was a bit cliquey ? I suppose I could always park the Landie round the corner and pretend I'm walking the dog A couple of snaps from Saturday.

This was my first meet and there were some fantastic cars and plenty of them. I can imagine the warmer weather will bring out even more cars.

If I were coming from Cornwall I’d probably extend the trip - go further up north on the Saturday to Caffeine and Machine, stay overnight and enjoy the empty Fosse Way early on the Sunday morning.

That would be a fair old trek, although on an early morning spring/summer drive it should be fairly clear. The usual location is literally up the M5, and a mile or two from the junction. An easy cruise.

I will have to see if there’s a date I can align with something else up there. Looks like it’s better than Haynes breakfast club..This was my first meet and there were some fantastic cars and plenty of them. I can imagine the warmer weather will bring out even more cars.

There’s some impressive cars and general numbers at the summer meets. Eastwood Park’s fairly local to me so I’ll often head up with my daughter for a bacon roll if I’m up and about on time, a lot of the good stuff is gone before 10am.

We tend to get to C&M once a year. We typically go to the game fair on a Friday and leave there around 3pm to do some Cotswold roads and a stop at C&M. If QS lines assame weekend I guess we could look at Game Fair on the Saturday. If I were coming from Cornwall I’d probably extend the trip - go further up north on the Saturday to Caffeine and Machine, stay overnight and enjoy the empty Fosse Way early on the Sunday morning.
