Bristol November Curry - Tuesday 22nd November
Discussion
ok.
we have booked the bombay dream curry house for 24 people for 8.30pm.
at the moment our plan is going to be to meet in the pennyfarthing at about 7 so that we can have a few pints before going for the curry. im not sure how many people are interested in going on to K2 afterwards as yet.

I'm coming back from London late that day so will miss the pub bit and attempt to join you at the curry house. If we are going along to Club Gezz, Mrs Y would like to come along too, if that's OK.
Yertis has asked me to find out if the K2 bit is still on (as he's in London and heading straight to the restaurant on his return). Any ideas chaps?

Clubs closed. just had a 20 minute row with my boss about it.
sorry sorry sorry
Don't worry about it. Thanks for trying.
Looks like Penny Farthing then the curry, with perhaps another drink after the curry.

(Driving tonight Ho Hum, at least it's BTaP at the weekend. )
it wasnt exactly too much hassle to organise and im glad that people enjoyed it.
i dont know how but i seem to have a habit of picking the curries that make you feel really shoddy the next day! i have skipped a practical because of it! but it was only a boring one where we culture our own bacterial flora in a lab.

Looks as though they have got out of Libya alive, as they have updated the website.

And "Mechsympathy" lives up to his moniker once more...
It wasn't all my fault...
We're in Sudan at the moment, and you'll be entertained to know that there's no beer (again) and the food is shocking. Thankfully we're heading for Ethiopia tomorrow and although I'm not sure the food is going to improve at least I can have a cold lager

(And sympathies MAM, hope it gets better pronto)
