Just drove into town to see scamera markings on the inbound side of the m32 along the very straight bit between j1 and j2.
Am I alone in thinking WTF!
Can anyone find any stats for accidents on the m32?
The only accidents I've ever seen have been nowhere near there.

The majority of accidents down there are tail end shunts 'cos the traffics doing 3 miles an hour!

Look on the bright side, it's blindingly obvious to anyone that as long as you're under the speed limit you're driving safely. So, take the opportunity to have a sleep in the back seat, that should relieve stress. Maybe lean out the window and polish the car. Personally I'm getting an Aga fitted in my car so i can knock up dinner on the way home.

I really think that would be one area where the flashing "SLOW DOWN" signs would be far more effective - everyone is acclimatised to tanking along the M4 and thinking about how to get to where they need to be in this grey, rain drenched, polluted grot-hole - they just need reminding to slow down, not be bloody fined. What a great welcome to the capital of the west country

Is there a gatso there or just the markings?

There's no mention of it on the scammers website.

I thought they weren't putting up any more Gatsos?

The motorway is now a 50 zone for the roadworks - hence the opportunity to make some money....

Ah. Thanks for the warning.. Must have missed those last week, (not that I'd have been able to go fast enough to get a tickets considering the volume of traffic..)

Could be Monitron-type cameras - that would explain no Snooper alert (lines in road rather than RADAR) and maybe the Origin database isn't up to date yet?

Been up and down this bit of the road several times in the last few days and seen no signs of anything on the road watching me..

Could be the clouds of diesel fumes whitelightning is currently kicking out though..

There are no obvious fixtures and fittings for a fixed site in any of the locations on the M32.

I suggest that they would be very likely hunting grounds for a mobile scammer though!

Good point! But where would they park?

TBH, anywhere in the coned areas - there is more than enough room in the closed off lanes and if not, then I am sure the verges must be fairly solid along there. All the markings are in places where the verge is quite flat....
