Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent IFA in the Bristol area? I know that location doesn't really matter but I'd quite like to start with someone close'ish to hand.

Cheers

I'm looking for one of them too. Isn't Splodge S4 an IFA?

Morning all... I'm an IFA but really specialise in mortgages & that side of things, its been 5 years since i passed exams for pensions & investments so if your looking for advice on that i'd have to read the manual again....

Financial services is a big bad world so its fairly unusual you'll find an IFA that does everything & is up to date with it all so people specialise in specific areas, if you think i could help by all means drop me an email, I'm totally independent & don't charge fees..

If Garry's skills don't fit the bill, I've used the IFA(s) at Bradford & Bingley on Whiteladies Road several times. Depending on product type, their services are usually 'free' in that you the customer doesn't usually have to stump up any cash (B&B instead get a comission from the provider of the product).

The only downside is that it seems that they are less 'independent' than they used to be now, i.e. for certain products they're tied to specific providers.

I'm a Financial Consultant for a large Building Society, but not commission based, so I'm not about the hard sell.

Drop me a PM if you want to run it by me...
