Crap, I could make this, but I'd be pushing it to blat and then make it to taunton after.

Arse. And what with the VMax being brought forward to a weekend I may not be able to make.

Double Arse.

I would, but I'm racing the two wheeled push bike variety and I need to be down by Taunton by about 8:30 - I'd be up but not able to stay long...

Neil

Where you racing? i so need to get back into it...track may be fast & dry, bloody hard, but fast..

It's Combe Sydenham which is usually feckin fast, and if it stays dry feckin hard and fast.

I'm all signed up by all accounts, so can't back out now.

Still, there are some good roads out that way

neil

Combe Syd...lovely track, riden it but never raced, the road jump half way down is a monster, good luck mate, what series is it?

It is the Winter Series of the NACC lot - I've not ridden much, and sure as hell aint doing the road gap (I value my body) but should be a blast nontheless.

I may try and squeeze in a quick run with you all

Mate we are gonna have to ride one day, that on the limit feeling of being nearly out of control but just keeping it together, hoping your machine stays together as your giving it all you got on the track.... hang on am i on about downhill bike racing or another Mendip blat?

*neil whizzes past in another vehicle not quite as good as the big boys toys, yet still nips at their ankles*

Translated into non biking speak: I ride a bike like I drive, and the bike is another 'all-rounder' type machine i.e. still quick in the right hands...

Translated into biking speak: Must buy a proper downhill bike...

Thanks. Still hoping that it'll be straightforward to sort my car tomorrow, but will send you a mail just in case I can't get it fixed.

Sam

(just noticed, can't mail you through your profile. Any chance you could mail me through mine, so we can sort something out in case I do need to take you up on your offer? Thanks)

Ditto - what's the route and where are you starting?

May or may not be able to attend.

You'll struggle to get this lot to arrange a route.

Additionally, not knowing who reads these forums, all routes are decided there and then on the spot.

Last hoon was around 100 miles overall around the Mendips etc.

Meeting Chew Magna High Street at 7.30am. Route to be decided when there on a concensus basis.

How was the run for everyone?

I eventually gave into peer pressure and went out so I was a bit sore in the morning

I also still have all the correct bones in the correct places, although I didn't race in the end, but went riding instead (hangovers are not nice underneath a full face helmet).

Was a bit gutted to have missed this run, but it gave the car a bit of a rest as it needs a bit of TLC and generally being nice to it
