Be aware that there'll be an increase in the number of unmarked cars on the A38 and A30 over the next month as the police run an exercise to cut down not just speeding, but aggressive driving and MLMs too.

indeed, im perplexed why that would make you happy too! lol
i understand why they are doing it, however i think they are targetting the wrong people.
i was stuck behind a car all the way from Plympton to Carew in the outside lane doing 60/65mph. there was nothing on his inside and he refused to pull in. after a while i was starting to get a little tired(let alone the miles of cars behind) and flashed my lights at him, he didnt budge so i went on the inside. now, if there was a cop around, I, yes ME, would have got done and not him in the outside. thats the british police for you!!

i believe that in some states of america you get done for under-speeding. i think this should be brought in over here too!!

• Dark blue unmarked Volvo estate pulled two cars (one in morning, one late afternoon) south-bound

I have seen the pictured BMW on the motorway (M5 ormore likely M4 but can't be sure which now) a few weeks ago. It was speeding down the 3rd lane followed by a marked car, I thought it was being chased as no lights. Later saw it in the services being driven by a uniformed officer.

Dark blue new shape vw golf yesterday on a38 around newton abbott. not sure whether it was cops or fire as it had no blue lights just had the headlights dancing. the reg was dg55 something.
he smiled as he went past so cant have been after me! lol

Also saw an older style BMW 3 series at newton abbott a couple weeks ago in dark green. it was sitting just before the trago junction offslip with 2 uniformed coppers in it.

They have another 5 series estate all marked up, a diesel (im guessing) but with an M5 badge stuck on top of the reflective stuff on the back. What jolly japesters those plod boys are.....
