Unmarked police cars in South-West ?

I seen the dark grey audi today , its a 60 plate ending MLY ,as it had a people carrier pulled over outside Trowbridge hospital, it's the same horrible copper driving it that use to drive the silver 5 series.....

Had the old bill at work today , they came in an undercover 3 series BMW , it was a dark grey one , WX10 reg , and had a small camera mounted in the near side roof rack holder , for motorway use .

I think they are on the M4 with the radar gun daily, just like when they got me.

There was a marked estate on the hard shoulder heading East just past Chippenham.

I'm intrigued. Why is the camera for motorway use? Is it not likely to be an ANPR camera for "all-road" use?

I do 65 most of the time (courier trying to save money, oh and get myself a PH spotted from someone other than Angry Apples!) and just observe the coppers observing the populus. Generally pass thorugh the area 2-4 times a day so see plenty

Saw a black Peugeot estate (407 maybe) in Penzance this morning, two coppers on board and an extra aerial so not a private car.

Also saw the burgundy 5 series touring on the M5 near Bridgewater this afternoon.

It points to the n/s of the vehicle , not forward , so looks at the occupants i spose .

right had to go down the M5 from bristol today. lots of BIB around an was overtaken by a unmarked 57 plate A3 in black with its lights going. 30 seconds later a unmarked black 58 plate octavia estate again with lights going bother between Clevedon and WSM both going south. A few police bikes on there to.

Dark red 5 series touring with no aerials, heading onto M5 northbound in front of me at J21 yesterday.

Left them behind as they were taking their time in lane 1, it shot past on blues a few minutes later. Noticed they were driving around the junction as I went off at Clevedon.

'nam? Anyone seen a sliver Mondeo in the M4 in Wiltshire recently? Got followed from J14 to J15 and pulled off just as they were starting to overtake. NiP time maybe, but they had a lot of time to pull me. Was so wrapped up in 'are they/aren't they' I nearly missed the junction completely. I hate these 2 week periods of paranoia/uncertainty
