Wiltshire Meet - Sunday 11 May 2008 (Midday onwards)

Following on from last years' successful meet "Wiltshire Car Meet, possibly at Trowbridge?", let's start a new thread here to discuss this years 'event'.

The pub I was thinking of was mentioned at the end of the other thread - it was the Beef and Barge at Bradford on Avon

Sorry, I haven't read the other thread... Do we have a date in mind?

Date thus far undecided. Last year it was 29 April 2007, see here. 27 April this year however clashes with two TVR events; Chatsworth and the monthly TVRCC C3C meet, though there weren't many Tivs there last year.
The venue is also open to debate as while the parking and views were good, the food was not well received.

I'll eat pretty much anything, so anywhere food-wise is fine by me. Easy on the dates too. Just as long as people don't mind a Vauxhall Astra coming!

Kings Arms at Monkton Farleigh is great for food. I'd think we'd fill the car park quite easily though

The 'poplars' pub in Wingfield has a decent sized car park, and im lead to believe the food is rather nice also.

Poplars car park isn't that big - my old man lives about 30 seconds walk from it, I would think that 14 cars would pretty much fill it, and we'd probably fill the pub.

The food is good though.

The Beef and Barge has parking for 50+ so might be a better option.

I'm in, depending on the date - leaving the UK for a month on April 11th.....
