Brighton Nightclubs

Don't underestimate the need to split the group, not into two, but into three. Many, but not all pubs are reluctant on all male groups too, they are big on ID these days too, to "know who's in the venue".
Brighton is great for a night, depends what sort of music you are into, Komeida is easier in our experience, many down the front are ok too.

Pryzm on West Street is the largest club (behind the Odeon) - there are a few good clubs on the lower promenade (i.e. on the beach) that have slightly more specific music. Bear in mind that all the door staff have radios so if someone ineeds your group is too drunk, abusive or for some other reason puts their back up, the rest will be made aware and you'll struggle to get in anywhere. This is another good reason to decide on your next destination before leaving for it, walk in groups of three or four and don't meet up again until you're all inside. As you might imagine Brighton gets loads of stag and hen parties, so the staff are switched on and many don't like big single sex groups.
Pryzm is quite good, although it is fairly expensive and the bouncers are often particularly harsh, so you need to split your group up and not arrive too pissed and airport security style searches of all males is not uncommon. Coalition which is right on the beach is always pretty good, as is The Haunt, which is opposite the mini coach station, although the latter is quite small. I'd avoid Shooshh, it tries to come across as a bit classy but really just attracts a certain type of person...
