Any feedback from anyone yet?
I've emailed the new email on the Facebook page a couple of times, and got nothing back. I get people are busy, but why do people advertise an email contact if they don't intend to use it? Especially a fresh business...just leave it off

I sent a message on Facebook, which they've seen but not responded to. I'm not going to judge, as I know how difficult it is to keep up with the comms, and they'll be in demand more than I am!I've emailed the new email on the Facebook page a couple of times, and got nothing back. Might just be easier to book in and judge on the results instead!
Good morning PH'ers. I'm Darren from wheel alignment solutions formerly the wheel alignment centre. Firstly i will apologize if you have tried contacting myself via FB, Email, Messenger or Whatsapp. I am certain i have replied to everyone but it seems not! As you all know it gets a bit busy and trying to manage 5 different lines of communication is difficult. I will always answer the landline so this remains the best way to get hold of me but that's not to say don't use the other methods! The landline number will be changing on the 12/05/21 from the existing one to the new one which is 02381782212 so make a note. My Whatsapp number is on the FB page so you can get hold of me regardless.
Hope to see more of you soon.
Regards,
Darren.

Just thought i'd bump this to add a thumbs up for Darren. Found this thread earlier in the year and was also recommended on another Pug page so travelled down the M3 from Surrey earlier this afternoon to get my 205 GTI checked over.
Just a couple of minor tweeks required in the end, to take out a slight drift to the left, and all good once more.

Emailed a while ago as S1 Elise's are tricky with rear camber shims etc. After a couple of unanswered mails I gave up and did it myself using the fishing line box technique and camber gauges. Very rewarding and the car now corners like its on rails on track and slides predictably.
Will make sure I phone in the future.

I went in there today and it turns out Darren remembers me from back when I used to visit the premises they had behind the Vauxhall dealer on Portsmouth Road 15 or 16 years ago and then down in Woolston near The Yacht pub, so that was a nice surprise.
This was back when I lived in Southampton, and when he moved to the current premises I got to know Nick well enough to book the last slot on a Saturday morning, then go for a drink afterwards, something that I tried to carry on when I moved away and was back visiting. Didn't happen often enough sadly. I haven't been south recently as frequently as I'd like because of covid nonsense putting a stop to everything, and to compound that, my phone bricked itself in March and his was one of the numbers I couldn't retrieve, so reading this thread was the first heads up I've had that Nick's unwell.
I booked both of our cars in for the end of the week and left my number for Darren to pass on to Nick in the hope I hear from him while I'm here. If I do, I'll pass on the good wishes from this thread.
Darren seems like a great guy who clearly knows what he's doing from what I've seen today, I'm sure he'll serve people well.

Took the Porsche in this morning, as arranged earlier in the week. Just a precaution really, as I'm not often in the south these days and this has always been my go to place for alignment.
In the last two weeks, the front subframe has been out to replace the front coolant pipes that run above it, meaning an alignment was required. The Indy that did the work charged me £100 to do the alignment alone. The car felt fine to drive afterwards, but it was always going to be checked down here anyway. Suffice to say, it was out of spec. It was "straight" but out of tolerance. Also suffice to say, I didn't get charged £100 to get it done properly this time, I had a coffee, and Darren is spot on to deal with.
I'll be having a chat with my Indy when I get back. They owe me a £100 refund based on what I've seen today.
The Lexus is in tomorrow. It went to the main dealer for a minor service today, and despite a pothole ripping the sides out of two tyres in December, and it having broken both front springs prior to this year's MOT a month ago, it drove without any indication that anything may have been damaged or out of spec. The tyre report from the dealer shows that nothing fundamentally can be wrong as the wear pattern is absolutely spot on across all 4 tyres.
I'll be fascinated to see what comes of tomorrows visit.

How did it go?
Great service and nice to meet Darren. The settings weren’t far out from spec but I had some alignment settings from other owners and he was more than happy to oblige. He also fitted my OEM camber bolts and we got away using 2 instead of the 4 suggested I need for 3deg camber up front. £20 to fit which I thought was good and much better than me taking the time to jack up, get my hands mucky and put it all back together.
