Poole to Torquay

Couple of weeks time I'm going to Torquay for the day on the bike. I need to get there for around 9am. I'll be leaving mine hopefully around 6.30am. Maybe 6 to take into account my ste directional skills.

I went in the car with work Wednesday and just went A35, A30, A38 and A380. Is there a better way? Hopefully someway a little bit more interesting. More for the way back as getting there I just want to get there as quickly as possible. Will be leaving around 4/4.30.

No as the coast road from Lyme Regis to Sidmouth is a feckin nightmare, A3052. I know as I drove from Fareham to East Cornwall and back every Friday and Sunday for years.
Get a motorbike.
