Even paying for a program only gives vague times.

Nothing as yet. The only thing I do know at the moment is that the Red Arrows are (strangely) not displaying on Sunday. Seems rather strange considering the size of the show.

Not a great line up this year, Typhoon makes it for me

I used to work with Gerald Cooper, his display should be pretty impressive.

We used to work with an ex Red1 and was always interesting them discussing the different Gthey experience in the 2 types of display.

If you can get to the correct end of the runway to watch the Red Arrows take off then go to the opposite end to watch them come in and do a flyby and then land. Last time they were in Bournemouth I took the family to watch them. Will remember the ear defenders for my 2 year old son next time. He loved watching them take off but the sound of them as they went straight over your head was a bit.much for him.
I can only make tomorrow's display down the beach, but hopefully a bit quieter than the usual mayhem at the weekend. Last time we went was two years ago on the Sunday. Spent the morning sheltering under the pier from the rain cooking bacon rolls then the sun came out and we watched an amazing show including an awesome Typhoon and an unforgettable Vulcan display.

To be fair this has been common at other festivals.

I think it flew at Eastbourne but only performed a fly-by at Biggin Hill and think it didn't appear at Farnborough?

I've heard its absence is cost related but happy to be corrected

I expect it’s because in previous years it’s been an RFA ship however this year it’s a Type45 - HMS Diamond.
