Are you going too limit numbers Aly, or split the group up?

I'm not sure how many are doing the run, will make that call on the morning. Decide on the route and stop off points for everyone to catch up.

To anyone who has done this run before would I be better sticking with my standard mk2 mx5 or bring my Megane r26?. I don't know what sort of roads are intended or what pace you lot go at.

The MX5 will be fine. The road conditions are not ideal for spirited driving at this time of year. We will keep a good pace, but safe. They are A&B roads that are mainly in good condition.

I think you'll be fine in either at this time of year. Maybe decide the day before when you can gauge the weather's plans.

Nobody is expected to come out and drive at their limit, that's not enjoyable on public roads with so many variables. We head out to have a bit of fun on the quiet roads, a good natter and a decent fry up biggrin

I like a hoon but will have my Nankank AR1’s on as road wheels and tyres are in for painting so I’ll be going gingerly. Bugger all grip out this time or year no matter what you run really.

We return back to the Seven Stars for around 9.15 to pick up those that just want the run up to Alton for breakfast.

Would love to join if numbers allow. Newish to the area so keen to meet some local petrol heads. Either a Cayman or bmw 130i depending on weather / my mood.

That's fine, I have reserved seating for 18, but due to the time of year there should be extra seating available. We just need to make sure we get there for 10.00 when they open for extra seating to be available.

Awesome thanks. I’ll join the run out so unless I get lost along the way I’ll be there for 10.

Torrential rain forecast for Sunday, as it stands.

People still keen to get out for a run prior to breakfast?

I’m planning on attending, but the rear is twitchy, time of year and PSS dropped off a cliff, so new tyres soon even though prob 4mm

I'm still up for it. Hopefully it won't be as bad as it is meant to be.
