Rule of convoys , always make sure you can see the car behind you , If the car behind slows you slow, chap in front spots your slowing and slows and so on , massively reduces the risk of being split up , downside is your only as quick as the slowest car but you can manage short blasts and slow again where there’s no turn offs from the road

Just a heads up Aly, you may want to go westbound if you’re planning for the 23rd as most of the usual roads will be closed.

I did know about it, pretty much covers the usual routes and 15000 cyclists could be fun. I will consider a different date.

Well that spandex parade has been cancelled due to high winds. Still a Stupid idea closing that many public roads.

Think they're planning to do it again in September 2019.

Central London closes down for the Prudential Ride 100 each year so if London can accommodate that, I'm sure we can do the same with less road closures in the countryside.
