Well done to Berkshire bred for organising, such a shame about the weather. Absolutely biblical rain, with occasional fog & mist!

MrTouring and I showed up after a terrifying trip down an empty, pitch dark, half flooded A34. Mini GPs do NOT like deep standing water laugh

We stuck with the first half of the run-out but after the umpteenth giant aquaplane I decided the risk just wasn’t worth it anymore - so we headed home.

Even the M4 home was a river!

Managed to get one perfect shot, with Berkshire Bred booting it in the background laugh

Sorry Adam, wouldn’t normally back out of a hoon, but the conditions this morning were horrendous. It really wasn’t worth risking it, just to get to the meeting point alone. Glad to see you did manage to get out with a few. Definitely next time mate.

That's a great photo!! Really apreciate you and Matt braving the shocking weather. Glad that you enjoyed the half of the run that you did, extremely lively to say the least. Me and Tony finished of the route as planned and it didn't let up at all.

Out on the a338 toward Salisbury a Beemer had hit standing water and had seemingly interacted with the scenery before spinning it back into the road. Front end was FUBAR, law was already there so nothing we could do. Then on the return run someone had missed a junction or perhaps aqua planed straight on into a road sign, road sign won! Knackered vw polo.

Ended up following Tony down south for the pub club which turned out to be a complete wash out. Decent drive down there though.

Deffinetly treacherous out today, glad everyone who attended got home safely, thanks again, Adam.

Absolutely fine Aly, roads were treacherous and really had to have our wits about us. Hopefully get better weather next weekend for your run.

Sounds like my alarm not going off saved me a lot of aggro. I woke up at 5:20, turned over as I knew I had a bit longer then woke up at 7:15 !!!!
Fair play to those of you who made it and had a drive out.
Lets hope the weather gods are a little friendlier for the next one

Enjoyed it! Clio is so composed even on the wet - can’t imagine doing the B4494 in those conditions in anything else other than a speedboat!
