Wheel refurb Portsmouth?
Discussion
Hi. Any recommendations in Portsmouth for a tyres off powder coating ? Don’t have the facility to remove the wheels and drop off so need somewhere nearby I can drop the car for a day or so. Have seen Wheeltex and Colourtech have good reviews on line. Anyone used either of them ? Thanks.

Thanks. Have used them also for body work , not keen to go back though ...
Got to say I had some work done there after a recommendation and when I visited to get a quote another PHer had his car in for work so went with them. Whilst the job was good I wouldn’t go back as I wouldn’t say it was perfect. I have used the wheel specialist, and would for sure use again.
They did powder coat, and came out great.
The alternative, is to go to the main dealer of your car, they have people on hand and have done one wheel on another car of mine that looks good, BUT, it's not a full job like the wheel specialist.
I see that "Revive" are popular as seen them about and doing work from mobile vans, so could be worth a call.

K&N Finishers in Portchester can recommend
Make sure you agree the colour beforehand - they painted a set of BMW wheels for me a few years ago (plastic centre caps so couldn’t be powder coated) and they came out more grey than silver. They were quite unapologetic about the colour change.Gassing Station | South Coast | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
