Personally, I would advise against pressure washing a modern engine bay, instead use Autoglym Engine & Machine cleaner, applying with a suitable brush, and using a hose with a gentle flow to rinse, making sure you cover all electrical components especially ECU's with plastic bags. Once finished, spray complete engine compartment with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care, start engine, close hood, and allow to tick over for about 15-20 minutes till dried, be just like new.
