Hello all,me again.I never new that TVR's are reffered to as 'TreVoR's before now. This has given me an idea. From now on in I will be identifing BMW's as BarryManiloW.What do you think?

as far as i know their only called TreVoR's cos the company was founded by a guy called Trevor, who just decided to frop some vowels and call the company TVR. hence why the cars are refered to as TreVor's

Limited though my knowledge is, i'm fairly confident the BMW wasn't founded by an old bloke with a big nose who sang the occaisional song :P

It was all lies I tell you, AND it was never proved in court!

Nah, not guilty your onna!

So there MUST be three Tuscans around then? mine, Speed eights (V8 Tuscan, now that is load!) and it appears the father of Craig and Lisa and I've not seen the last one. Any idea what color it is?

Lol fairynuff, and to be fair i dunno if Craig's dad's tuscan is in the area or not, i just remember going a bright shade of green with envy when he told me his dad had chopped in a chim for a rather lovely Tuscan! not sure of the colour, either red or blue rings a bell but dont know for sure.

Also new to PH, also in the Sompting area but no Ultima! Fav roads in the area are...

Titnore is good
Coobmes Road (from worthing on the A27 left at the traffic lights at Shoreham airport)but not suited to any large size vehicles.
If it is clear the road the other side of the Adur "The Steyning Road"
Church Lane > Titch Hill
From Worthing on the A24 the Washington roundabout right, back towards Steyning "the pike"
Or go through Storrington on the Pulborough Road onto Pulborough through to Fittleworth to Tillington is one of my favs...

Today I did :

A24, Titnore Lane, Long Furlong, back through the valley, back up the top road, down Titnore and back along A24 again

Barring some total muppets, it was good fun

When I say muppets, I mean, why stay in the RH lane of 2 stretches of duel carriage way and then go straight on at the end ???????

The usual 30 in a 40, 45 in a 60, etc, etc, brigade were out as well

The bit just after Fittleworth is a real gem, as you head west' and break out of the wooded area onto a wonderful stretch of rolling road, with just the right amount of hills and bends in fairly quick succession, shame it's not very long.

Just so happens some of us Tivs will be driving that very bit of road next Sunday on our St. Georges Day run.

Cheers

Ditto

By the way, last Monday at Goodwood was a good one, nice eclectic mix of cars, especially enjoyed some guy showing the 911 drivers how to get a decent time.......in his Focus RS !!

Kudos to the guy, I have seen a hell of a lot of cars go around Goodwood (20yrs+ of visits) and this guy impressed !!!
